A stylish and original Art Nouveau inkwell, dating to around 1900. The base is crafted from richly toned copper with a warm natural patina, decorated with cut-out stylised motifs at each end in true Jugendstil fashion.
The inkwell itself is formed from faceted clear glass, topped with a copper lid featuring soft organic lines typical of the period.
This piece beautifully combines functionality with elegant design, embodying the Art Nouveau movement’s emphasis on flowing forms and natural harmony. A perfect addition for collectors of period desk accessories or as a statement decorative object.
