A beautiful brass metal oval mirror with stand from turn-of-the-Century France
The oval frame features the classical art nouveau sinuous lines and a woman in repose peering at herself in the mirror.
The frame is stamped with “mod dep”, an abbreviation of "modèle déposé," which is French for "registered design". It's similar to the UK's "Rd.No." or "Regd. No.
The mirror is 14” tall and 12” across. It has a red velvet backstand. It can also be wall-hung.
The frame is in excellent condition with no damage or sign of repair.
