A beautiful Art Nouveau cigar box crafted by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF), a German metalware manufacturer renowned for their Jugendstil designs around the turn of the 19th Century.
The stunning antique was originally designed to be a cigar box can be repurposed to be a modern-day jewellery or trinket box.
It has a hinged lid and is lined with cedar wood within an openwork silver plate frame with a flowing linear pattern.
It is stamped with the usual WMF marks and ostrich stamp on one of the corners.
It is in excellent antique condition with no sign of repair or major damage.
