A beautiful Art Nouveau Chamber Candle Holder by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) of Germany, circa. 1906.

Crafted in silver plate, the stunning antique is butterfly shaped and is adorned with a classic foliage motif.

Chamber candlesticks were used for carrying light around the house and this has a curved handle.

This candle holder has a detachable, screw-threaded sconce and drip pan for cleaning. 

This appears in the WMF 1906 catalogue, p. 117, item no. 231.

It is approximately 6cm tall and is in excellent antique condition with no damage or sign of repair.
